Terms & Conditions

Contact Us: Please feel free to contact us about any item your interested in if you require more detail. We come across lots of different items everyday, so we may be able to help you track down that one elusive piece if you let us know. Our operating hours of business are 9-5 pm Mon-Sat.

Function Testing & Safety: Before sending out equipment we carry out function tests where possible, to enable us to best describe the product to you. All of the products we sell have been previously owned except where stated. Whilst we try to test diligently, it is not always practical to test every function. For your safety plugged items will be tested before posting.

Postage:  We do our best to post out items on a daily basis, but we state three days to be on the safe side. We reuse boxes and packaging to keep costs down for the business and the customer. All items will be securely packed. A signature will be required on most items being delivered, but if you have any special requests ie, where to leave parcel etc then please please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate. We are only posting to the UK and European countries at present, but are looking to expand this to global in the future. Please inform us straight away of any damaged in transit items. Please ring us if your order has not arrived within 10 working days. For Overseas Posting please call first for latest shipping costs.

CHANGES TO OVERSEAS SHIPPING:  Any Parcel travelling outside of the UK could potentially attract a customs charge.

These Charges are the Sole Responsibility of the Purchaser. 

We are unable to provide indication as to whether your item will attract such charges, and how much these could be. These charges are set by the relevant authority in the delivery country. If you are unsure how this may affect you please consult your local authorities web page.

Delivery Charges: For smaller items under 1kg the charge is £3.29 then £5.29 for 1-2kg. For items over 2kg the charge is £10.99. Any item that is over 5kg  and needs insurance the charge is £13.99.

The shopping cart works out the postage and adds it to your order at check out.

Payment: We offer Paypal & WorldPay for online payment methods. We can also accept mail orders and cheques made payable to Lindars Radios, but we allow payments to clear before sending ( usually up to 5 days).

Returns: If you wish to return an item please contact us first.Within 14 days of purchase a refund will be offered. If items are returned to us, they must be unused & complete and in the same condition we sent to you. The original packaging must also be used at all items. Once item has been returned and our engineer has inspected, a refund will be made. Return postage charges will not be covered by ourselves and relevant insurance should be arranged to cover goods.Outside of the 14 day return period, faulty returned items cannot be accepted, unless covered by manufacturer's warranty or our shop warranty.

Warranty: Where implied the standard warranty is 3 months from date of purchase. (The warranty does not include blown output transistors / finals). The warranty does not include clock / backup battery replacement or guarantee on life of battery.

Please ring us first if you experience any problems, to enable us to help rectify the situation. If an item is returned to us and after testing we find it works and it is not faulty then you will be required to pay for the return costs. We will also charge a labour fee for testing the item.  If the item is returned faulty and there is no evidence of tampering, neglect or misuse, then we will implement either a refund or repair where possible.

Spares or Repairs: All items sold as spares or repairs are offered for sale with no warranty implied. The definition for spares or repairs is  "As a product to be repaired or re-conditioned prior to being used"​.
